CCF&CBF

Anisoprint CCF (Composite Carbon Fiber) and CBF (Composite Basalt Fiber) are a composite reinforcing fibers in the form of a tow made of thousands of ultrathin carbon or basalt monofilaments, impregnated with a special polymer composition ensuring high-quality adhesion between the polymers and the fiber. Composite fiber is used to reinforce the plastic during fabrication of the part.

About

Additive manufacturing of composite parts reinforced with continuous fibers is based on dual-matrix composite co-extrusion technology (Composite Fiber Co-extrusion, CFC) and allows manufacturing of strong, lightweight and complex-shaped parts with tailored material properties.

CCF

  • 30 times stiffer and stronger than normal plastic
  • Strength-to-weight ratio is more than 5 times higher than for 2024-T351 Aluminum
  • Stiffness-to-weight ratio is more than 5 times higher than for 2024-T351 Aluminum
  • 7 times lighter than steel and strong as stainless steel

CBF

  • 15 times stiffer and stronger than normal plastic
  • Strength-to-weight ratio is more than 2 times higher than for 2024-T351 Aluminum
  • 5 times lighter than steel and strong as stainless steel

A 750m spool will be enough to fabricate a fully composite 55х55х55mm cube or a fully composite A4-sized plate with a thickness of 2.5mm. The volume ratio of carbon or basalt fiber in final product is about 25%.

Anisoprint technology provides a wide range of applications in aerospace, automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, sport, transport - every area where strength and lightweight are required.
