Shanghai, China, March 27, 2023: Anisoprint, a leading provider of composite 3D printing solutions, announced the opening of a new office in Shanghai, China. The new office is located in the AMTC, Additive Manufacturing Technology Centre, which is a state-of-the-art facility that provides access to cutting-edge 3D printing technologies and equipment.
Exhibiting at the show has been one of our highlights in 2022: not only because we enjoyed the opportunity to meet our partners, suppliers, clients and other industry professionals, but also because Formnext brings together the whole AM industry and is a great way to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
In this blog post, we take a look at the current state of composite 3D printing and asked Anisoprint’s Co-founder and Chief Design Engineer, Mikhail Golubev and Clemens Schwöbel, our Robotics Engineer, to share their Formnext experiences and key takeaways. Stay ahead of the curve with our industry recap!
About a year ago, at Formnext 2021, we officially introduced our industrial 3D printing PROM IS 500 to the market. After inviting beta users and focusing on customer research and understanding the market, its size and potential, it’s about time to share an update. At Formnext 2022, we sat down with PROM IS 500 Product Owner, Eugene Babarykin to take a closer look at the upcoming major milestones. Currently, the industrial-scale machine for continuous fiber 3D printing is about to complete the testing phase and will see the serial production release in 2023.
Starting in September 2022, 3D printing solution provider Anisoprint deployed their Research and Development Team at Jacobs University Bremen. The main focus of the partnership is fostering research and development of composites manufacturing with Continuous Fiber Coextrusion (CFC) technology and establishing a research environment for 3D printing technologies on the university campus in Bremen, Germany.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg / Bremen, Germany – July 27, 2022: The Luxembourg based hardware start-up Anisoprint and Jacobs University Bremen have teamed up through a signed agreement to foster research, education and technology transfer on continuous fiber 3D printing on the university’s campus in Bremen.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – July 4th, 2022: Anisoprint, a manufacturer of continuous fiber 3D printing systems, and Systemcreate announce an exclusive distribution partnership that will accelerate the adoption of 3D printed continuous fiber-reinforced composites in the Japanese market.
Adopting innovative technologies for your business can be both challenging and exciting. The tremendous benefits sound promising and tempt us to get started without setting clear expectations. This article is a guideline for organizations who want to integrate additive manufacturing into their established production processes. Not every 3D printing technology is equally suitable for every situation. This is why we’ve created a list of 10 criteria to help you explore where AM offers the greatest technological and economical value for your application, prior to making any decisions.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – May 09, 2022: Anisoprint, a continuous fiber 3D printing solution provider, signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nanoracks Space Outpost Europe, the leader in the commercial utilization of space, to strengthen its position as a space technology developer and become a part of the low Earth orbit and lunar economy.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – May 04, 2022: Continuous fiber 3D printing pioneer Anisoprint is expanding its global footprint and announcing a collaboration with Top 3D Group as distributor in the North American market. The California-based supplier will now sell Anisoprints proprietary technology and exhibit the Composer 3D printing systems for the first time at the upcoming RAPID + TCT in Detroit.
It’s a common problem: Even if you’re away from your printer you still want to track the status of your print job and understand what’s going on. And the more printers you have, the more difficult it becomes to monitor each of them. Ideally, you want to log-in to a system to ensure an optimum utilisation of all your machines.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – March 28, 2022: Anisoprint, a composite fiber 3D printing technology pioneer, was selected to participate in the Startup Support Program (SSP) managed by European Space Resources Innovation Centre (ESRIC) in partnership with Technoport, the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) and the European Space Agency (ESA). SSP’s goal is to develop the space resources ecosystem by providing a platform for entrepreneurs with business ideas targeting terrestrial and space applications.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – March 15, 2022: Anisoprint, a continuous fiber 3D printing systems and software OEM, is introducing Clear PETG and CFC PETG, a second pair of filaments for desktop Anisoprinting. Developed for use with Composer A4 and A3, PETG is one of the most universal and effective materials for composite fiber co-extrusion (CFC). The material is paired with a proprietary profile in Aura slicer library, which guarantees high standard quality and exactly predictable properties.
With all the diversity of additive technologies and composites manufacturing, AM with composite materials includes even more peculiarities that are neither fully studied or familiar to everyone, nor taught at a university. 3D Printing with composite materials might be challenging, but it offers incredible benefits: Parts can easily be made 2-3 times lighter compared to metal-made at a fraction of the cost. But knowledge of certain aspects is required to succeed.
This is why we would like to share the knowledge about our technology and the best way to learn an innovative manufacturing technique is to receive it first hand. In order to understand where to start, you should learn about the “families” of products.
Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg – February 02, 2022: To accelerate the adoption of 3D printing with continuous fiber-reinforced composites globally, Ansoprint is now exclusively distributing its 3D printing systems and patented technology via Sedaxis. An exclusive reseller agreement for the Indian market has been signed between Sedaxis and the Luxembourg-based continuous fiber 3D printing specialist.
From early 2021 on, we’re focusing on the Chinese market. A partnership with Solid Dynamic, our distributor, has enabled us to launch our sales efforts successfully. Time to reflect on the things we’ve learned after one year of building our presence in this highly fascinating region.
